Our story
Our company was founded in 2016 and Luxurier.co was founded in 2020 around one simple idea: the kind of bedding you find in five-star hotels and designer boutiques should be within reach, without the department-store mark-up.
Our team carefully selects every design and fabric, and we work with specialist textile partners worldwide, especially in Asia to produce and ship them. We offer complete sets in 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, rich jacquard weaves and embroidered designs from around £135.
Today Luxurier dresses bedrooms across the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Middle East and Asia, with more than 30,000 orders delivered since our first one in June 2020.
Why Egyptian cotton?
Egyptian cotton is an extra-long-staple cotton, from the Gossypium barbadense plant, traditionally grown in the Nile Valley. Its fibres are longer than those of regular cotton, so they can be spun into finer yarns without losing strength. That is what gives Egyptian cotton bedding its reputation as the “king of cotton”.
- Softer: long, fine fibres make a smoother fabric with fewer loose ends, so it feels silky against the skin.
- Stronger and longer-lasting: longer fibres create a stronger yarn that stands up to regular washing.
- Breathable: natural cotton lets air and moisture move, helping you sleep comfortably all year round.
- Richer colour: Egyptian cotton absorbs dye well, giving deeper, brighter colours that last.
Every Luxurier product labelled “Egyptian Cotton” is made with Egyptian cotton. When a design combines materials, for example Egyptian cotton with satin, jacquard or lyocell, the blend is stated in the product name and description.
What does thread count mean?
Thread count (TC) is the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric, counting both directions. Luxurier Egyptian cotton bedding is available from 500TC to 1400TC.

A higher number is not automatically better: fibre length and yarn quality matter more than the count alone. That is why our thread counts are woven from long-staple Egyptian cotton.

What’s included in a Luxurier duvet cover set?
- 4-piece set: 1 duvet cover, 1 flat or fitted sheet (your choice) and 2 pillowcases (48 × 74 cm).
- 6-piece set: everything in the 4-piece set plus 2 extra pillowcases.
- Duvet cover and bedspread sets: selected designs also include a matching bedspread.
A duvet cover set does not include a duvet (the filling). A duvet cover is a removable outer cover for your existing duvet, so it is not the same as a comforter set. Our flat sheets measure 250 × 270 cm and fit most beds.

Available sizes vary by design. Emperor sets are made to order in 4–5 business days and, as bespoke items, cannot be returned. Most sets without embroidery can also be made in custom sizes: email hello@luxurier.co with your measurements.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and sent by tracked courier (FedEx, DHL, UPS, Aramex, YunExpress or Royal Mail). Tracked shipping on bedding sets is free to all our main destinations. Estimated transit times after dispatch:

Mulberry silk sets need 2–3 extra business days and Emperor sets 4–5 extra business days, because they are made to order. Most products ship directly from their country of production in Asia, including China, Thailand and the UAE, so an order with several items may arrive in more than one parcel. Do I pay import duties?
- United States: orders are sent Delivered Duty Paid, so Luxurier covers the import duties.
- United Kingdom: VAT is included at checkout on orders up to £135. Above £135, VAT and any duty are collected on import.
- Europe and other countries: local customs may charge import VAT or duties, especially on orders above €150.
Returns and exchanges
You can return or exchange bedding within 14 days of delivery if it is new, unused, unwashed and in its original packaging. Email hello@luxurier.co for a return number (RMA). Returns go back to the warehouse of origin and return postage is paid by the customer. There is no restocking fee, and returns are processed within 7 days of arriving. Bespoke items, such as Emperor sets, and pillows cannot be returned. Read the full Returns Policy.
How to care for Egyptian cotton bedding
- Wash at 30 °C (86 °F) or lower, separately, on a gentle cycle.
- Use a mild detergent and no bleach.
- Add a spoonful of salt to the first wash.
- Air-dry, or tumble dry on low heat.
- Iron on low heat, with a cloth on top if needed.
